Héctor Ferrer Fernández

Contemporary dance

Trained at the Institut del Teatre in Barcelona, with Víctor Ullate in Madrid, and graduated from the John Cranko Schule in Stuttgart, Germany.

With over twelve years of experience in the performing arts, he has danced professionally with prestigious European dance institutions such as Opera Ballet Vlaanderen under the artistic direction of Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, and the Ballet de l’Opéra National du Rhin.

As a performer, he has taken part in works by Pina Bausch, Maurice Béjart, Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, Edward Clug, Sharon Eyal, Andonis Foniadakis, William Forsythe, Akram Khan, Jiří Kylián, Jean-Christophe Maillot, Ohad Naharin, and Crystal Pite, among others.

Since 2023, he has been a member of the Akram Khan Company and collaborates on various freelance projects as a performer, teacher, and choreographer.
