Zumba

Priscilla is a Dominican dancer and teacher.

She began her dance training at the age of 6 at the Layla Kazzas Ballet School. At the age of 12 he participated for two consecutive years in the Children’s Carnival Grand Gala, winning first place.

At the age of 16 she began her training in jazz, hip hop and contemporary dance at Ritmos y Ecos Espacio de danza with Awilda Polanco and classical ballet with Ximena Quintana, where she was given the opportunity to teach her first Hip Hop classes at the age of 17, and was a teacher at the school for 10 years.

She has participated in dance intensives in New York City at Broadway Dance Center, Dance New Amsterdam and Alvin Ailey schools .

In 2008 she was part of the contemporary dance company Blo a Blo, winners of the first Caribbean dance biennial, with which she toured the Caribbean islands and French Guyana.

In musical theater he trained with Maurice Robert Hines Jr. American actor, director, singer and choreographer, Laura García Godoy, Dominican actress, Nadia Nicola, Cuban vocal and choral director, and producers Nuryn Sanlley and Amaury Sánchez.

She has participated in musicals such as High School Musical on Stage, Legally Blonde, Dreamgirls, among others.

She has participated in major events in the Dominican Republic such as Festival Presidente de Música Latina, Premios Soberano, Festival Telemicro, and outside the country in Miss Universe Philippines as a guest of the Philippine All Stars.

In 2017 she did her Zumba training.

As a teacher she has taught in different dance schools and colleges in the Dominican Republic and in dance schools and gyms in Barbados, the Philippines and Switzerland.

Currently she has completed her dance training at Dance Emotion and is a Zumba teacher at the school.

He is also a member of the company D-Motion Project.
