The Dance Module is perfect for those people who want to start and train in dance, in a way adapted to their lifestyle.

A training designed for all types of dancers and people, limited to Saturday mornings.

Getting in touch with dance and acquiring the basic notions is essential.

Dance Emotion as a school authorized by the Dept. d’Ensenyament de Catalunya nº 8074677, gives at the end of the Dance Training, the accredited professional dance diploma.

Recommended for people who want to start from scratch in the world of dance, in order to get a good base of the three main disciplines:

Classical Dance, Contemporary Dance and Jazz.

Schedule and duration

The academic year begins in September and is divided into two semesters until June. The Dance Module has a duration of two years.

At the end of each semester, the exams corresponding to the subjects of the Dance Module curriculum are held.

These evaluations offer us the opportunity to closely follow the development of our students, providing them with personalized teaching and assessment.

Classes are held on Saturday mornings.

In order to access the Dance Module, auditions will be held to determine the level at which the student will begin his or her studies.

Informative talks and open house will be held beforehand to solve all your doubts.

Frequently Asked Questions about the Dance Module

Is there any previous level required to access the training courses?

The Dance Module is structured in different levels, which are adapted according to the technique and experience of each student in the various dance disciplines.

The first level is Pre-Dance, designed for those who have had no previous contact with the three main dance forms taught in the course: classical, contemporary or jazz. This level is especially useful for dancers from other disciplines, such as urban or Latin dances, as well as for people with sports backgrounds, singers or actors.

Those students with at least one year of experience will be able to access the next higher level, as determined during the entrance exam.

Who is the training course for?

The Dance Module is aimed at people who want to get started in dance, in a structured and regulated way by an authorized school. Also, people with previous experience, including other disciplines, to whom our weekend schedule fits.

Is there a certain age to do so?

The average age is from 16 to 30 years old. If you have any questions about your eligibility, please do not hesitate to contact us.

What does the entrance exam consist of?

The entrance exam consists of a classical, contemporary and jazz dance class, followed by a personal interview on the same day.

It is not necessary to bring material prepared in advance.

We prioritize attitude and willingness to learn, as well as motivation and individual goals. We establish the most appropriate level for each student according to his or her technique and skills.

Is there a scholarship option?

The scholarships granted by Dance Emotion for the students of the Dance Module include free access to 4.5 hours per week, within the regular scheduled classes. This opportunity will enrich the learning of our students, providing them with a broad experience in different styles, which will contribute to form versatile and multidisciplinary dancers.

How can I apply for a student visa?

If you need to apply for a student visa to study the Dance Training program, we will provide you with an Acceptance Letter from the school.
How can you obtain it? Once you have completed the audition and, in case you’ve passed, you will need to complete the following steps:
  • Make the payment for the enrollment
  • Sign the contract
  • Pay the first installment of the course
After completing these three requirements, we will send you the Acceptance Letter. With this letter and the signed contract, you will be able to apply for your student visa for the duration of the course.
