(Gijón, 1985): dancer, choreographer, pedagogue and cultural manager.
His main training took place in France at the schools of Vendetta Mathea and James Carlès, and he attended numerous intensives with Joe Alegado, Risa Steinberg, Andrew Harwood, Olga Cobos, Corinne Lancelle, among others, as well as repertoire workshops with Forsythe, Limón, Nikolais and Preljocaj.
As a dancer he works in different companies and projects in Spain, France and Mexico (Etats d’ames, Ballet Contemporáneo Laura Vera, Zig Zag Danza, Dana Raz Dance Projects, Euroculture…) and as a choreographer he directs his own company Inquiquinante Danza in addition to commissions for other international companies.
With his own repertoire he travels through Spain, France, Poland and Mexico, obtaining critical and public acclaim and awards such as the Oh!
For best show in Asturias, the Special Mention at the Indifestival of Cantabria or that his solo “Sebastian” has been chosen by El Pais as one of the 7 best dance shows in Madrid in the 2012 season.
As a pedagogue he has been teaching regular contemporary dance classes since 2009 to amateur dancers as well as students and professionals, winning prizes in different national competitions and seeing his students enter official conservatories and renowned schools.
She also teaches different specific workshops such as “Music & Dance” at The London Contemporary Dance School-The Place, “Repertorio Inquiquinante Danza” at Oviedo Intensive Dance Course or “Master Class” at the Delfos School in Mazatlan, Mexico.
She collaborates with the Centro Dancístico de Oaxaca project in Mexico, designing the programming of the Contemporary Dance course for professional studies.
As a cultural manager she is a member of Meriendas Cuer where she researches the relationship between performing arts and feminism, designing a regular program as well as the festival “Muyeres Fest” for the City Council of Oviedo in which dance has an important presence.
